Embiid asks for All-Star votes so he can get with celebrity crush
Joel Embiid will do anything for love.
In 2014, the Philadelphia 76ers big man tweeted he was trying to woo a celebrity, but she turned him down and told him to "come back when (he's) an All-Star."

Now that he's recovered from his foot surgeries and is actually playing in the NBA - and leading the Rookie of the Year race - he's making a push to participate in February's showcase in New Orleans.
