The New York Knicks finally managed to reach point guard Derrick Rose who was conspicuously absent from Monday's game.
Joakim Noah revealed that he shared a phone call with Rose following the Knicks' loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. He confirmed Rose was OK, but he did not specify as to what else was said in the conversation.
Team officials, Knicks players, and close associates were unable to reach Rose before Monday's game. He attended morning shootaround, but he was not with the team despite being listed as a starter an hour before tipoff. His spot in the starting lineup was filled by Brandon Jennings once it became apparent Rose was absent.
