Warriors dismiss Green's flagrant
Reveling in a 126-91 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday night, the Golden State Warriors weren't taking too seriously the first-half brush between Draymond Green and LeBron James that landed Green a flagrant-1 foul.
"I fouled him to stop the break and he went down," Green told reporters afterwards. "In the aftermath I told (Richard Jefferson) to get out my face."
And the mock flop?
"It was just in the heat of the moment of the game. Having fun. Nothing major."
Green's mock impression followed LeBron's fall after the collision between the two. As with many of James' reactions to fouls, it may have contained some extra mustard.
"Was that an incident?" Steve Kerr wondered aloud after, according to ESPN's Marc J. Spears. "I don't think so. It looked like a normal foul."
