Indiana forward OG Anunoby will undergo season-ending surgery on his ailing right knee.
Head coach Tom Crean confirmed the news Friday, shortly after it was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Anunoby went down with a knee injury in Wednesday night's win over Penn State, and the Hoosiers declared him out on an indefinite basis a day later.
The sophomore averaged 11.1 points and 5.4 rebounds this season, and his athleticism and defensive versatility helped him become one of the top NBA prospects in the nation.
Indiana, which hasn't played since Wednesday, will take a two-game winning streak and a 13-6 record into a Saturday affair with Michigan State.
