Report: Oakley banned from Madison Square Garden
Charles Oakley is no longer welcome at Madison Square Garden.
The 53-year-old has been banned following his role in Wednesday's altercation at MSG, ESPN's Michael Kay reported on The Michael Kay Show.
Oakley was ejected from the contest - reportedly upon New York Knicks owner James Dolan's request - and later charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of trespassing.
Oakley has said that he was minding his own business and did nothing to deserve the ejection. The Knicks later released a statement saying everything Oakley told the media was "pure fiction."
The Knicks sent out an email on Friday with 16 witness statement from the incident, according to ESPN's Ian Begley. Video will reportedly be provided later.
Oakley wasn't the only person punished following Wednesday's incident, as top security chief Frank Benedetto was reportedly fired on Friday.
Oakley has received plenty of support over the last two days, with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Reggie Miller all backing the '90s star.
