Report: Pacers gauging trade market for Paul George
The Indiana Pacers have decided to gauge the trade market for Paul George, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.
If George is indeed on the market, it would signify the biggest name thought to be so far, alongside Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls. Recent reports have stated the Pacers are looking to bolster their roster in an attempt to make their franchise player George happy, but the fact also remains that he can opt out of his current contract after next season.
Wojnarowski also reports that George has considered the Los Angeles Lakers as a possible free-agent landing spot. George grew up in Palmdale, in northern L.A. County. Such a possibility may make any other suitors think twice about trading for George without an opportunity to negotiate a long-term extension.

George is averaging 22.3 points in 50 games this season, the second-highest scoring output of his career.
