Watch: Ibrahimovic's late header secures EFL Cup for Manchester United
The man is a champion.
On Sunday, in the final of the EFL Cup, Zlatan Ibrahimovic did it again, scoring by virtue of an 87th-minute header to lift Manchester United to a 3-2 victory against Southampton and secure the Red Devils' first trophy under Jose Mourinho. It was a savagely cruel moment for the Saints, who pummeled their opponent for large parts of the game and who had a goal wrongfully disallowed in the first half.
Ibrahimovic, who also opened the scoring, found himself with acres of space in Southampton's penalty area, and Ander Herrera played an aerial pass to the Swedish No. 9 that resulted in the inevitable.

"That was nice," Ibrahimovic said, according to the Guardian's Rob Smyth. "It was a great cross from Herrera. This is a team effort. I came to win, and I'm winning. The more I win, the more satisfied I get. You appreciate winning more as you get older. This is my 32nd trophy - wow, I'm super happy."
Asked if things have gone better at United than he could have imagined, Zlatan answered: "No, no. I knew what I could do, and now I'm doing it. Many people said I could not do it any more. My friend, I keep going."
Again: Ibrahimovic is the embodiment of a champion.
