Seahawks' Thomas, Lockett doing great, GM says

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider provided an injury update of sorts on four notable players.
Speaking at his media availability at the NFL Scouting Combine, Schneider said strong safety Kam Chancellor recently underwent surgery on both legs that went well, and free safety Earl Thomas and receiver Tyler Lockett are both "doing great" after sustaining broken legs in 2016, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
However, cornerback DeShawn Shead won't be ready for the start of the regular season, Condotta adds.
All four are key contributors to the Seahawks, whom Schneider says are hoping to sustain their status as annual contenders, Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune writes.
