Dalvin Cook claims he's best running back in draft
The title of top running back in this year's NFL draft is one up for debate. That debate generally includes the names of Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook.
Cook tried to end that discussion Thursday by stating he's in fact the best running back available, according to Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal.
Cook was a force during his three-year career at Florida State, but so too was Fournette during his time at LSU.
The two differ in styles, as Cook opts to rely on his vision and ability to separate in the open field.
The projected first-round draft choice said he'll run "something fast" during the 40-yard dash, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.
Some draft analysts have the 5-foot-11 linked to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the No. 19 pick. Cook said it'd be a "dream come true" to reunite with his college quarterback, Jameis Winston, Kevin Fishbain of the Northwest Herald reports.
