L2M report: Kawhi traveled on game-winner vs. Pacers

Soobum Im / USA TODAY Sports

A few things had to break the San Antonio Spurs' way in order for them to pull out a one-point win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night.

That included Pacers guard Monta Ellis - a 77-percent free-throw shooter - missing both his freebies with the Pacers up one and nine seconds to play. It also included a bit of leniency on the part of the officials, who let Kawhi Leonard get away with a travel on his game-winning fadeaway over Paul George.

In Thursday's last-two-minute report, the league acknowledged that Leonard switched his pivot foot from his left to his right after gathering the ball, and should've been whistled for a walk before rising up for the turnaround jumper.
