Report: Foreman won't perform drills at combine due to foot injury
Erich Schlegel-USA TODAY Sports
Former Texas running back D'Onta Foreman won't participate in Friday's drills at the NFL Scouting Combine due to a small stress fracture in his foot, a source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Freeman was unaware of the issue before the combine and had been working out normally, adds Caplan, so the injury was likely discovered during the medical examinations at the combine.
The 20-year-old - who's expected to go somewhere in the third or fourth round of this year's draft - is still expected to work out at Texas' pro day on March 28.
