Garrett planning to apologize to Browns for Cowboys video
Potential No. 1 pick Myles Garrett made headlines earlier this offseason when a video made the rounds that showed him pleading for the Dallas Cowboys to trade up and draft him.
There always appeared to be an element of playfulness in the message, and it it wasn't long before Garrett explained that he was told to have fun with it while filming back in December.
Well aware of the way his comments still could have been perceived, though, the former Texas A&M star told reporters during his combine media availability Saturday that he will apologize to the Cleveland Browns.
Garrett remains a runaway favorite to be selected by Cleveland at No. 1 overall in April. The Browns are desperately in need of a quarterback looking to the future, but there are few that expect they'd pass on a top talent like Garrett to reach for one of this year's signal-callers.
He'll have the opportunity to put his rare athleticism on display when the defensive lineman take the field for combine drills Sunday.
