Warriors to rest just about everyone against Spurs
Steve Kerr will pull a Gregg Popovich against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Golden State Warriors head coach announced he will rest Stephen Curry, Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson in a back-to-back scenario on the road Saturday.
An MVP candidate from each team will miss Saturday's game too, as Kevin Durant (knee) and Kawhi Leonard (concussion) are both out.

Popovich was the first coach to employ such dramatic resting strategies - a stunt that earned him hefty fines in the past. Saturday's matchup will be aired by ABC, as it was originally slated as a showdown between the top two teams in the West.
"It's 100 percent health," Kerr told reporters after the game. "I've been conferring with the training staff every day on this trip ... It's my call and it's the right thing to do in terms of the way the season is playing out."
