WWE's Kane preparing to run for mayor in Tennessee

Glen Jacobs, known to wrestling fans as "Kane," is gearing up for a mayoral run in Knox County, Tenn.

The WWE star expressed interest last year in running for county mayor, and has taken the next formal step toward that by filing paperwork with the Knox County Election Commission appointing a political treasurer, according to WCYB.

Should he run and win the election, which is slated for May 1, 2018, Jacobs said his focus would be on attracting jobs and businesses to Knox County.
