Thomas plans to play in next 2 games, attend sister's funeral in between
Isaiah Thomas doesn't intend to miss any playoff action this week.
The Boston Celtics point guard plans to suit up in Game 2 against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night and attend his sister's funeral the next day, head coach Brad Stevens told reporters Monday.
The 28-year-old All-Star played in the first-round opener on Sunday - just a day after his younger sister Chyna was killed in a car accident. He poured in 33 points, six dimes, and five boards in the 106-102 loss.
