Watch: Barkley calls out 'punks' who criticized his Thomas comments

Charles Barkley drew a great deal of ire after saying he felt "uncomfortable" watching Isaiah Thomas cry on the sidelines Sunday prior to the Boston Celtics taking the floor for Game 1 against the Chicago Bulls.

Thomas was emotional as he mourned his younger sister, Chyna, less than 24 hours after she was killed in a car accident.

Rather than sit idly by and have his name dragged through the mud, Barkley used the stage of "Inside the NBA" Tuesday to clarify his comments, as well as call out those who misinterpreted them to turn a non-story into something bigger.

"I don't care what ya'll think. I don't care what your mom and daddy think, either," Barkley said.

"For all you nitwit, scumbag, idiot punks to try to make that a story because y'all don't have ratings and use my name to draw ratings, don't do that. If you don't have any talent, it's a separate fact, you don't have any talent. Let me be me."

Barkley added that he spoke to Thomas personally, and the All-Star point guard didn't take any offense to what he said.
