Trump hosts Super Bowl champion Patriots at White House
President Donald Trump hosted the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots at the White House on Wednesday.
Thirty-four players skipped the event, however, including quarterback and Super Bowl MVP, Tom Brady, who cited "family matters".
Trump compared the Patriots' victory to his own triumph during the presidential election.
"Whether you're trying to rebuild our country or win a Super Bowl, there are no days off," Trump said.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick spoke briefly, thanking Trump for his hospitality before presenting him with a replica "45" jersey, a nod to the Republican businessman becoming the 45th President of the United States.
