Watch: Bulls fans chant 'Fire Hoiberg' in season-ending blowout loss
With their backs against the wall and the prospect of being eliminated from the playoffs staring them in the face, the Chicago Bulls put forth a giant dud of a performance in a 22-point loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 6 Friday night.
Bulls faithful at the United Center didn't shy away from voicing their displeasure, especially as it pertained to head coach Fred Hoiberg.
Chants of "Fire Hoiberg" were heard echoing throughout the building during the final moments of the contest. Celtics coach Brad Stevens was even shown on the sidelines mouthing the words "shut up," no doubt in defense of Hoiberg.
Chicago - who led the series 2-0 after taking Games 1 and 2 in Boston, only to fall in six - converted just 39.5 percent of their field-goal attempts and 4-of-19 from 3-point range.
