VIDEO: John Wall scores highlight reel baskets just 23 seconds apart

The Wizards brought a 2-0 series lead back to Washington with them, thanks largely to the improved play of John Wall.

Wall is continuing to bring it to the Bulls in Washington, with a pair of highlight reel baskets early on in the first quarter.

Wall missed the free throw on the and-1 opportunity following the second basket, but other than that, he appears to be on his game.

He would again score quality buckets on back-to-back possessions later in the quarter, knocking down a three, then getting to the basket and hitting a circus and-1 shot just 30 seconds later.

Wall again failed to convert on the three-point play, but it's hard to complain about his performance in the opening period.

He finished the frame with 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting, while adding three assists and two steals, helping the Wizards to a 30-28 lead through the first 12 minutes.
