Lightning's Bishop undergoes successful wrist surgery; out 3-4 months
The Tampa Bay Lightning announced goaltender Ben Bishop underwent successful surgery to repair a torn ligament in his right wrist Tuesday.
Bishop's rehabilitation will take three to four months, meaning he might not be back on the ice preparing for next season until the end of August. He is expected to be available for the Lightning's 2014 training camp.
