Report: Panthers sign Willie Mitchell to 2-year, $8.5M contract

The Florida Panthers have signed defenseman Willie Mitchell according to Aaron Ward of TSN.

George Richards reports the deal is a two-year term. Bob McKenzie reports the contract is worth $8.5 million.
In his last season with the Los Angeles Kings, Mitchell appeared in 76 games scoring 12 points.
