VIDEO: Japanese All-Star player tries to hit 186-mph fastball

Hitting a baseball is so hard even the sport's best players fail at least twice out of every three at-bats.
Now, imagine more than doubling the speed of the average major-league fastball and trying to hit that. Two-time Nippon Professional Baseball home run king Takeshi Yamasaki was up for the challenge.
The following is apparently from a Japanese TV show, which took Yamasaki to task by pitting him up against a pitching machine firing 300-kilometer per hour heaters (3:19 mark of the video):
Yamasaki, who was still timing the beginning of his swing when the ball passed him by, nearly fell over from laughter - and presumably fear.
