Jerry Lai / USA TODAY Sports

Toronto Blue Jays left-hander Daniel Norris's rise through the minor leagues has been rapid.

Shi Davidi of Sportsnet is reporting that the 21-year-old, who began the 2014 season with Single-A Dunedin, will finish his season in the majors.

Norris joins young arms Marcus Stroman and Aaron Sanchez in Toronto after dominating in five appearances with Triple-A Buffalo, posting a 3-1 record along with a 3.18 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 22 2/3 innings.

Level W-L IP ERA SO-BB
A+ 6-0 66.1 1.22 76-18
AA 3-1 35.2 4.54 49-47
AAA 3-1 22.2 3.18 38-8

The left-hander was selected 74th overall in the 2011 MLB Draft and is expected to work out of the bullpen.
