Blues, Robby Fabbri agree to terms on 3-year, 2-way entry-level contract

The St. Louis Blues agreed to terms on a three-year, two-way entry level contract with 2014 first-round pick Robby Fabbri, the club announced Tuesday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Fabbri, 18, was drafted 21st overall by the Blues at the NHL Draft back in June. In 58 regular season games with the Ontario Hockey League’s Guelph Storm last season, he ranked second on the club and tied for 14th league-wide with 87 points (45 goals, 42 assists).

During the 2014 OHL postseason, Fabbri helped the Storm win the OHL Championship, posting 28 points - including a team-leading 13 goals - in 16 games en route to earning Playoff MVP Award.

Fabbri is expected to return to Guelph this season, but is set to play for the Blues at the 2014 Prospects Tournament in Traverse City, MI, beginning Sept. 12.
