Bills' Sammy Watkins on EJ Manuel: 'He's getting better, everybody is getting better'

With the Buffalo Bills storming out to a 2-0 start, much has been made of the rapid improvement of sophomore quarterback EJ Manuel.

The 24-year-old pivot had another solid outing against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, completing 16-of-26 passes for 202 yards and a touchdown, with half of those completions hauled in by rookie wideout Sammy Watkins.

“He’s getting better, everybody is getting better,” Watkins said (via BuffaloBills.com). “We believe in the offense. The coaches are calling good plays, putting us in great situations and each week I feel like (Manuel's) gaining more confidence in us and it’s just going to keep getting better.”

Watkins, an early favorite for offensive rookie of the year, was no slouch himself on Sunday, racking up 117 yards receiving and a touchdown.
