VIDEO: Serbian fans wildly celebrate FIBA World Cup silver medal

The star-studded American team cruised to a FIBA World Cup title as expected, with their nine victories coming by an average margin of 33 points and their closest game decided by 21 points.

While Americans are surely proud of their James-less, Durant-less, Paul-less, George-less, Griffin-less, Love-less team, it's hard to become too emotionally invested without any serious competition. And that's why you probably won't see many parties thrown for the dominant champions.

Serbia, on the other hand, made an unexpected run to the championship game (where they lost to the U.S. by 37) after a 2-3 record in group play and a narrow victory over France in an exciting semifinal showdown.

That Cinderella basketball story obviously swept up the country, because this is how Milos Teodosic, Miroslav Raduljica and the rest of the Serbian team was celebrated back home:
