A New York Knicks fan who alleges he was ejected from Madison Square Garden and subsequently arrested for heckling Carmelo Anthony is taking the team to court, according to the New York Post.

Anthony Rotondi, who reportedly lost his job as an ING broker as a result of the incident, wants Madison Square Garden to reveal the identity of the MSG official who called his former employer to report his "disorderly" conduct and "abusive" behavior at a January game against the Detroit Pistons during which he allegedly yelled, “Carmelo, you stink!”

Rotondi was charged with criminal trespass and tampering with a sports contest following his ejection on Jan. 7, and lost his job two days later.

The 42-year-old also says he was falsely accused of refusing to show his ticket and refusing to leave The Garden.

According to The Post report, however, a Knicks fan who was standing near Rotondi that night claims he yelled, “Carmelo you f***ing suck!”

“This is a frivolous lawsuit, and we are considering counter-suing this individual," MSG head of communications Barry Watkins told The Post.
