BYU's Taysom Hill's broken leg even worse than originally expected

BYU quarterback Taysom Hill's broken leg was "worse than expected" according to doctors who performed surgery on the ailing limb. 

BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall said that the doctors determined every major ligament in Hill’s leg was "shredded." The doctors also inserted a plate and eight screws to help with the rehab process. 

During BYU's game against Utah State Friday night, Hill was carted off the field in the second quarter after being tackled.
