It may have taken half an hour, but Spain have opened the scoring in its Group C encounter with Luxembourg on Sunday.
Spain, coming off a shocking 2-1 loss to Slovakia in their previous European Championship qualifying match, came into the match as heavy favourites to dismantle a team that perennially struggles to find results during qualifying.
Midfielder David Silva was the man to break the deadlock after his thunderous half volley soared into the top corner of the net.
