The Indiana Hoosiers will be heading to Hawaii in 2016.

According to a report from the Indianapolis Star, Indiana's basketball program has agreed to play a game at Pearl Harbor in conjunction with the annual Armed Forces Classic. From the report:

The contract, obtained by The Star through a public records request, says the game will be Nov. 11, 2016, as part of the Armed Forces Classic. No opponent is listed.

In December, the Honolulu Star Advertiser reported that there would be two games that day at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.

2016 marks the 75th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor that lured the United States into World War II. It's been rumored for some time that games could be played on the island of Oahu.

The Armed Forces Classic began in 2012 and sees Division I games played at different military bases around the world each year.
