Lions' Caldwell: Calvin Johnson won't play until he's fully healthy

Calvin Johnson may be traveling with the Detroit Lions when they make their trip to London this week, but he still won't see any game action until he's 100 percent healthy.

"It's not going to be a thing of degrees," head coach Jim Caldwell told Michael Rothstein of ESPN. "When they say he's cleared, he's ready to go and he’s feeling great, when the doctors say, OK, that's when it's going to happen. It's not going to be a whole lot of in between."

The three-time first-team All-Pro has missed the last two games with a nagging ankle injury, and is in danger of sitting out three games in a season for the first time in his career.

In five games this season, Johnson has racked up 22 catches for 348 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
