Arizona State's Taylor Kelly expected to start vs. Washington

Arizona State head coach Todd Graham announced that he expects quarterback Taylor Kelly to return and start Saturday against Washington, according to Doug Haller of azcentral sports.

Kelly, a senior, has missed the team's last three games after suffering a foot injury in Arizona State's win at Colorado on September 13th.

Kelly warmed up with the Sun Devils before their game against Stanford on Saturday, but Graham did not feel it was appropriate to let him play.

"He wanted to go last week, but we also have an obligation to make sure I don't put the kids in jeopardy ... If I was making the decision with my heart, I would've let him play, but he wasn't ready. We'll see how it progresses this week," Graham said.

Mike Bercovici, a junior, has started in Kelly's place and beat two of the three ranked teams he faced in USC and Stanford. Bercovici fell to UCLA in the first of the starts.

This season Kelly has thrown for 625 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions. He also ran for 168 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns
