Report: Ray Rice files grievance against Ravens

In addition to the appeal hearings with the NFL set for Nov. 5 and 6, Ray Rice has filed a grievance against the Baltimore Ravens for their decision to terminate his contract just hours after the elevator video emerged, according to ProFootballTalk. 

A source for ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the report.

Rice's case continues to be that he was punished two separate times for the same offense, which goes against the league's collective bargaining agreement.

The grievance filed against the Ravens organization seeks missed payments for wrongful termination, dating back to when Rice was originally set to be reinstated from suspension in Week 3 of the regular season.
