The Detroit Red Wings will host Hockey Fights Cancer night Thursday against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Each team hosts their own version of the night by wearing special warmup jerseys and decals on their helmets, plus more to support the cause.
For his part, Red Wings goaltender Jimmy Howard will sport a new mask Thursday dedicated to the cause:
The annual campaign began on Oct. 14 and will run until Nov. 15.
