Harold Reynolds - who spent 12 seasons in the major leagues before transitioning to the broadcast booth - remains a polarizing figure among baseball fans, many of whom find themselves rolling their eyes at his often myopic or antiquated ideas about baseball.
On Wednesday during Game 2 of the World Series, the veteran analyst even drew the ire of his broadcasting partner, when play-by-play man Joe Buck jokingly told Reynolds to "Go back to MLB Network" after a disagreement in the sixth inning:
Buck, however, ought to get comfortable with Reynolds, who was promoted to the FOX Network's top broadcast squad after Tim McCarver retired following the 2013 campaign.
