Chargers' Verrett leaves game with shoulder injury; did not return

It doesn't look as though San Diego Chargers rookie cornerback Jason Verrett will return to Thursday night's game against the Denver Broncos.

Verrett, who left the game in the first half with a shoulder injury, was seen on the sidelines wearing street clothes with his left shoulder in a sling, according to U-T San Diego's Michael Gehlkin.
