Penn State safety Ryan Keiser hospitalized with rib, small bowel injury

Penn State head coach James Franklin clarified that safety Ryan Keiser was hospitalized with a rib injury.
James Franklin: "Ryan Keiser suffered a fracture in a rib." Underwent surgery for "small bowel injury" and is improving.

A Penn State spokesman said yesterday that Keiser was hurt in practice last Thursday.
The safety is third on the team with 25 tackles this season.
