With Jagoba Arrasate likely approaching the end of his reign as manager of Real Sociedad, the club are reportedly considering David Moyes as Arrasate's potential successor.

President Jokin Aperribay recently acknowledged that Real Sociedad were looking for potential replacements, and according to ESPN FC, who picked up on reports from Cope radio, Moyes in one of the names being considered.

Moyes has been without a club since he was sacked by Manchester United in April. While it was widely expected that his next job would come in the Premier League, a move to Real Sociedad could bode well as there's really only one direction for the club to go following their dismal start to the season.

Real Sociedad sit 17th in La Liga with only one win through their first nine matches and one point above the relegation zone. The disastrous start seems even worse when you consider that they were in last season's Champions League.

Other replacements for Arraste being discussed in the Spanish media include former Mainz manager Thomas Tuchel, ex-Real Betis and West Brom coach Pepe Mel, and Juande Ramos, who has previously managed Real Madrid, Sevilla, and Tottenham.
