1966 - Johnny Unitas becomes all-time passing leader

Baltimore Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas throws for 252 yards to surpass Y.A. Tittle's mark of 28,339 yards passing and become the NFL's all-time leading passer. 

Unitas goes on to finish his career with 40,239 yards through the air, a mark that stands today as the 14th best of all time. 

2007 - Tony Romo signs 6-year, $67.5 million deal

The Dallas Cowboys lock up quarterback Tony Romo on a six-year deal worth $67.5 million with $30 million guaranteed.

Romo entered the NFL in 2003 as an undrafted player out of unheralded Eastern Illinois. His first contract with the team was for a reported $10,000.
