Bengals' Giovani Bernard misses practice Thursday, unlikely to play Sunday

It's starting to look like the Cincinnati Bengals won't have Giovani Bernard on the field when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official website reports Bernard was absent from practice for a second straight day Thursday as he continues to battle a hip injury he picked up in Week 8. 

Hobson speculates that Bernard is unlikely to suit up this weekend, which would open the door for rookie Jeremy Hill, Cedric Peerman and Rex Burkhead to handle the rushing load in a timeshare.
