49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio says Patrick Willis is questionable vs. Saints

The San Francisco 49ers may be getting one of their best players back ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.

49ers defensive coordinator Vic Fangio said that it's uncertain whether middle linebacker Patrick Willis will play due to a toe injury. 

"It's questionable," Fangio said to the San Jose Mercury News' Steve Corkran. "As the week rolls on, if he doesn't start practicing at some point, it starts moving to doubtful."

Willis missed the 49ers' last two games, both losses. The seven-time Pro Bowler would be a welcome boost for a unit that has lacked consistency all season.
