Mavericks' Raymond Felton unlikely to be activated Tuesday vs. Kings

Still awaiting clearance from team doctors, Raymond Felton will most likely remain inactive when the Dallas Mavericks host the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night.

Felton suffered a high right ankle sprain during a preseason game on Oct. 10, forcing him to the inactive list for the Mavericks' first seven contests of the regular season and making him ineligible to commence his suspension related to gun charges from last season.

The 2013-14 campaign was one to forget for Felton. In addition to his off-the-court troubles, he posted a career-low of 9.7 points to go with 5.6 assists with the New York Knicks, earning a reputation as one of the NBA's worst starting points.
