Maple Leafs loan Booth to AHL for conditioning stint

The Toronto Maple Leafs have loaned forward David Booth to the Toronto Marlies of the AHL for conditioning purposes, the NHL club announced Friday.
Booth suffered a foot fracture blocking a shot in a preseason game against the Buffalo Sabres on September 28.
He has not played this season, and was initially expected to miss a month.
