VIDEO: Maple Leafs' Lupul awkwardly dodges question about girlfriend

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul may have to apologize to a certain someone after a young fan asked him about his relationship status during the team's annual trip to Sick Kids Hospital on Thursday.

"No, but kind of. I don't even know how to explain it," Lupul said in response to the question about whether or not he has a girlfriend.

It's a good thing he didn't try, because that explanation could have very well been unsuitable for the young reporter's ears.

Either way, it was incredibly awkward, and there may be a few texts waiting for him when he checks his phone.
