Paul Bissonnette signs pro tryout contract with AHL's Manchester Monarchs

It didn't take long for Paul Bissonnette to land another professional tryout contract.

Released from an AHL tryout by the Portland Pirates on Monday, Bissonnette has signed a similar deal with the Manchester Monarchs, the minor-league affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, the club announced Tuesday.

Bissonnette will be available for Manchester’s game Friday at Portland. He failed to record a point or a penalty in eight games with the Pirates.
