Report: Sabres ready to deal either Jhonas Enroth or Michal Neuvirth

It's no secret that the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres are open for business.

Intent on bottoming out in order to get their hands on one of Jack Eichel or Connor McDavid, the Sabres are expected to continue to trade useful veteran pieces for future assets as the season goes along.

While Sabres general manager Tim Murray is reportedly content to wait patiently for prices to rise on the trade market, he's prepared to capitalize on the stellar start to the season that his goaltenders Michal Neuvirth and Jhonas Enroth are authoring.

"Now (Murray) is not going to deal both (Enroth and Neuvirth)," TSN's Pierre LeBrun reported during an Insider Trading segment on Tuesday. "But I'm told he's ready to deal one of them.

"They're both UFAs at the end of the year," LeBrun continued, "he's not going to sign them both. I think he'd like to sign one, trade the other."

Enroth and Neuvirth have split time pretty equally this season, with Enroth starting 16 contests and Neuvirth, who has missed time due to injury, starting 11 games. While neither goalie has a winning record, they haven't had much help, and both have managed to post an average or better save percentage.
