Jets chase Stars' Lehtonen as defensive woes continue for Dallas

Jerome Miron / USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Stars are one of the most permissive defensive clubs in the NHL this season. Their goaltending hasn't been particularly good either, but it's not like Kari Lehtonen has had much in the way of help.

On Tuesday, for example, Lehtonen was pulled after allowing three goals in just over 27 minutes. That's not good, but on the other hand, Lehtonen had already faced 17 shots.

Stars' backup Jussi Rynnas replaced Lehtonen and but he didn't fare much better - he promptly allowed two goals against on four shots faced.
