It looks like Arsenal's New Year's resolution had nothing to do with improved defense.
The first half of Southampton's New Year's Day fixture versus Arsenal saw Sadio Mane score his third goal in as many matches, curling home a shot over an out-of-position Wojciech Szczesny with some assistance from Per Mertesacker.
Southampton then doubled their lead in the 56th minute, as Dusan Tadic had no trouble slotting home a gift of a shot following more questionable defending from Arsenal and another odd decision by Szczesny.
Get it together, Arsenal. It's 2015.
