Joel Embiid trolls LeBron James after 76ers beat Cavs

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Cavaliers' struggles are so real even the lowly Philadelphia 76ers are poking fun at the team.

Anderson Varejao has been lost for the season, while LeBron James is sidelined with back and knee strains. The Cavaliers have lost four of five contests since the superstar went down, falling six games behind the Chicago Bulls in the Central Division.

Cleveland's season hit its low point Monday after losing 95-92 to the 76ers, who secured their first win at home with the victory.

Injured 76ers rookie Joel Embiid, who has garnered a reputation for his solid Twitter skills, had a message for James after Philadelphia's surprising win:

Embiid and James have a history of a one-way Twitter relationship.

The No. 3 overall pick of the 2014 draft took to the social media website in July when James became an unrestricted free agent and attempted to lure him to Philadelphia.

James never responded, much to the chagrin of Embiid.

Embiid followed up with another tweet after James announced his decision to return to Cleveland with the sad realization that his pitch to the four-time MVP was unsuccessful.

Perhaps we'll see some more gems from Embiid, who should have plenty of time on his hands as he sits out the season with a foot injury.
