Adonis Jennings to transfer from Pitt

Charles LeClaire / USA TODAY Sports

Adonis Jennings is no longer a Panther.

The freshman wide receiver announced Friday on his now-private Instagram account that he'll transfer from the University of Pittsburgh. His destination was revealed, however.

Jennings' high school coach, Rob Hinson, also confirmed the transfer.

"It's wide open. Its open, right now," Timber Creek head coach Hinson told Todderick Hunt of NJ Advance Media on Saturday morning. "I don't know if he'll be able to get into school this semester because it's such a quick turnaround. But he did get his release and everything from Pitt."

Jennings finished the season with 55 yards on six receptions.
